Ralph Waldo Emerson
Positive psychology is the scientific study of what makes life worth living. Scientists discovered that happier people tend to experience greater success in both their personal and professional lives. This led them to explore what these individuals do differently—how they use their strengths, foster positive emotions, and build resilience to overcome challenges. Positive psychology focuses on improving well-being, and providing the tools needed to achieve long-term success and fulfillment.
I live with my husband and two children on the Oxfordshire-Berkshire border, surrounded by stunning countryside, yet still close enough to London for work.
With a commercial background in the UK's largest media agencies and publishing houses, I’ve gained deep insight into what drives people—how they think, work, and, most importantly, how they excel.
After earning a degree in psychology earlier in life, I returned to my passion and later qualified as a Positive Psychology Practitioner and coach. I now love running my coaching business and helping others thrive.

While both coaches and therapists help individuals improve their lives, their roles differ. Therapists are clinically trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, address past traumas, and focus on healing and emotional well-being. Coaches, on the other hand, are not clinicians. They help individuals achieve goals, enhance well-being, and move forward in areas like personal growth or career. Coaching is action-oriented, future-focused, and empowers clients to create positive changes.
Confidentiality is a top priority in my coaching practice. I adhere to the principles and ethical standards of the Positive Psychology Guild, ensuring that your personal information and everything we discuss remains private and secure.
A typical coaching relationship lasts for six sessions spread over 12 weeks. This timeline provides plenty of space for you to reflect, explore, and begin practicing the strategies and tools we develop together. It’s designed to create meaningful, lasting changes at a pace that works for you.
Absolutely, it’s very common to feel this way—especially during midlife, when we’re juggling many roles and responsibilities. A lot of my clients come to me feeling exactly like this. Coaching can help you reconnect with what truly matters to you and explore what being authentic means for you. Together, we’ll work to uncover your values, strengths, and passions so you can feel more aligned and true to yourself in all areas of life
Positive Psychology isn’t about ignoring or avoiding negative emotions. If during our sessions, we’ll work through them together. Acknowledging and understanding these emotions is just as important as focusing on the positive, and it’s a key step toward personal growth and resilience.
